Salted Cocoa Walnut Brownies
The pink salt marshes of Grussian in southern France provide inspiration for this simple brownie recipe.
Mix:
1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Beat in:
2 eggs
Mix in:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 tsp cayenne
Pour into 8x8 inch square pan.
Top with
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Pinch of coarse sea salt
Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes.
